1. Who we are

Cosplaynia is a small workshop producing handcrafted cosplay costumes from Guangzhou, China.

2. Orders & pricing

• Prices are shown in USD, EUR, or GBP depending on the region you shop from, and include applicable VAT where required.
• An order is accepted only once we email you an order confirmation.
• We may decline or cancel orders that look fraudulent.
• Pricing errors are corrected before shipping; we'll contact you first.

3. Payment

• We currently accept PayPal, eligible debit and credit cards processed by PayPal, and Bitcoin and other supported cryptocurrencies processed by our self-hosted BTCPay server.
• PayPal and cards: PayPal processes the payment. We do not receive or store your card number.
• Crypto: the invoice locks an exchange rate for its validity window; the order confirms once your transaction is seen on the network. Crypto refunds are issued as a claimable crypto payment matching the refund's fiat amount at the time of refund.
• Wise: When available at checkout, Wise orders are reserved when placed and enter production once the transfer clears. Use the payment details supplied with your order and your order number as the reference.

4. Made-to-measure commissions

• Custom-sized pieces are produced from the measurements you submit at checkout.
• It's your responsibility to provide accurate measurements; we'll reach out by email if anything looks unusual.
• You can change or cancel a made-to-measure order until cutting starts — typically within 48 hours of placement.
• Made-to-measure orders typically ship in 4 weeks; complex pieces may take longer.
• Because they're cut to your dimensions, made-to-measure pieces are non-returnable except for manufacturing defects. This is the standard exception for goods made to a customer's specification under EU/UK consumer law.

6. Returns

See our Returns page. Standard-sized pieces can be returned within 14 days of delivery in unworn condition.

7. Intellectual property & characters

• Our costumes are inspired by characters from films, games, comics, and anime. They are independently produced fan-made pieces, not officially licensed merchandise.
• Photos and copy on this site are our property unless otherwise credited.
• If you're a rights holder and have a concern about a listing, email [email protected] and we'll respond promptly.

8. Limitation of liability

We don't accept liability for indirect or consequential losses, or for injury caused by misuse of costumes or props beyond their intended convention and photoshoot use.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, where the workshop operates. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
